FERMA President Jorge Luzzi has been named the risk management personality of the year by Risk Management Professional magazine in its 2011 risk management awards. The prizes were announced at a dinner held in London on 16 November. Hosted by American comedian, actress and scriptwriter Ruby Wax, the sell-out event gathered 400 risk professionals from across the world. Jorge, Group risk Management Director for Pirelli worldwide (FERMA), spoke of his “complete surprise” at winning the personality of the year prize. He said: “I had no idea this was going to happen. It’s fantastic.”
