Third Session of the Working Group of AGERS Spanish Risks Managers “Natural Disasters”

Working Group of AGERS Risks Managers join in their third meeting with Insurance Companies to analyse natural disaster accidents

AGERS - Asociación Española de Gerencia de Riesgos y SegurosMadrid. November 27th, 2014 (AGERS).- The Risks Managers Group of AGERS, which was created in order to analyse the possible situations in which catastrophic claims occur, celebrated today its third session with Insurance Companies.

With the purpose of developing the conclusions of the second Manual of this Association, “Natural Disasters” (Catástrofes Naturales in Spanish), main findings of this Working Group will be disclosed next May during the XXVI Spanish Congress of Risk Management and Insurance of AGERS.

Today´s meeting was placed in Transfesa offices thanks to the offering of this entity who shared its facilities to host the Working Group of AGERS and the Insurance Companies AIG, ACE, GENERALI, MAPFRE GLOBAL RISKS and ALLIANZ Global Corporate & Specialty.

The participants of this session were Mr. Juan Carlos López Porcel, President of AGERS and Risk Manager from ARCELORMITTAL; Mr. Juan M Gayá from EL CORTE INGLÉS; Mr. Mario Ramírez Ortúzar from CLH; Mrs. Esperanza Pereira from AENA; Mr. Alfredo Zorzo from ORANGE España; Mr. Luis Vila from NESTLÉ; Mrs. Isabel Hernández from MERCADONA; Mrs. Teresa Lozano from ENAGAS; Mrs. Eva Pérez Pastor from TRANSFESA; Mrs Sara García from IBERIA; Mrs. Mónica Serrano from AZKAR (DACHSER Group); Mr. Juan Carlos Castro from NAVANTIA; Mr. Iñaki Reclusa from INDRA; Mr. Pedro Rodríguez Díaz from DEOLEO; Mr. Ignacio Martínez de Baroja from HISPASAT; Mrs. Silvia Nuñez-Piedrahita from RED ELÉCTRICA; Mr. Robert Bellet from BASF and Mrs Alicia Soler, Executive Manager of AGERS.

Other areas of expertise, such as Expert Cabinets and Law Firms, will be central topics during the following sessions of this working group.

The conclusions of those meetings will be published as part of a manual of reference for Risk Management and Insurance Sector fulfilling with AGERS social role and commitment with its members.
