More than 350 risk professionals to attend 2012 FERMA Seminar

More than 230 risk and insurance managers have registered to attend the 2012 Seminar organised by the Federation of European Risk Management Associations (FERMA), where they will hear the announcement of the results of the 2012 FERMA benchmarking survey.

The 2012 FERMA Benchmarking Survey received a record number of 809 responses covering risk management and insurance market issues.

This is the sixth time that FERMA has carried out the survey, conducted in collaboration with AXA Corporate Solutions and Ernst & Young, and on each occasion the number of participants has risen significantly. The 2010 survey had 782 responses.

Cristina Martinez, FERMA board member with responsibility for the survey commented: “We believe the FERMA survey is most extensive view available of the current state of risk management in Europe and of commercial insurance buyers’ views of the insurance market.”

The Seminar is a free event for risk and insurance managers only held every two years. This year it is taking place in Versailles, outside Paris, on 22 and 23 October.
