Marie Gemma Dequae to join IRM board

The Institute of Risk Management (IRM) has announced that Dr Marie Gemma Dequae has been elected to its board of directors with immediate effect.

 

Dr Dequae has had a long and distinguished career in European risk management, having worked in various senior risk management roles for over 20 years. She has taken a particular interest in risk management training and education and has strong links with a number of European management schools in risk and governance.

She is currently a board member of Belfius Bank and Belfius Insurance in Belgium. She is scientific advisor to FERMA, the Federation of European Risk Management Associations and was previously President and board member of FERMA.
