For rimap certified risk professionals: information on adjustments as of 1 January 2021

ferma rimap Certified no background

The FERMA Rimap certification is a dynamic learning path and your examination was just the starting point of a lifelong learning journey which in this turbulent times is becoming an economic imperative.

Over the years we have noticed that our Continuous Professional Development (CPD) system was too complicated and time-consuming for the rimap certification holders. We have therefore decided to simplify the process. Whats does it mean concretely?

As of 1 January 2021, the annual renewal fee of €100 to maintain your certification and the use of the current dedicated online platform to log your CPD points are stopped.  You still need to maintain your certification by collecting 50 CPD points over 2 years.  However, you will now record your activities and keep track of your points by using a simple template, which is available on the FERMA website.

FERMA will conduct random audits on a regular basis during which you will be asked to provide an overview of your CPD points and the related supporting material.

Attending this year’s European Risk Management Forum will already provide you with 25 points. So stay tuned for the opening of registrations and have a look at our website for more information about activities organized by FERMA and its members granting CPD points.

Best wishes and a successful and above all healthy New Year 2021!
