FERMA elects four board members for 2013-2016

FERMA elected four members to serve on its board for the next three years at the general assembly on 20 June. FERMA President Jorge Luzzi and Julia Graham were re-elected following the end of their previous mandates. They were joined by two new members: Anders Esbjörnsson and Edwin V Meyer. Isabel Martinez who joined the board in 2012 to fill a vacancy was confirmed as a full board member.

On behalf of FERMA, Jorge Luzzi congratulated the new board members and paid tribute to the work of Günter Schlicht who retired from the board, and also contributed greatly during his time as chief executive of DVS.

Jorge Luzzi is the current President of FERMA. He is Managing Director of Pirelli Insurance and Reinsurance Company (PIRCO) and a member of the Italian association ANRA.

Julia Graham is Chief Risk Officer of the global law firm DLA Piper, and a member of the UK association Airmic.

Anders Esbjörnsson is a member of the Swedish risk management association SWERMA, Risk Manager for the construction group NCC and managing director of the company captive, NCC Insurance .

 

Edwin V. Meyer

Edwin V. Meyer

 

Edwin V Meyer is General Manager Risk and Insurance Management for ArcelorMittal Group. He is a board member of the German association DVS.

 

 

 

 

The full board of FERMA is now: Jorge Luzzi, President; Michel Dennery and Alessandro De Fellice, Vice Presidents; Peter Den Dekker, Anders Esbjörnsson, Helle Friberg, Julia Graham, Carl Leeman, Cristina Martinez, Isabel Martinez, Edwin Meyer and Jo Willaert.
