FERMA and AIDA Europe organise first ever joint event

How often are risk and insurance managers confronted with awkward legal questions about insurance? What can legal experts learn from knowing what happens when the law has to be applied in practical business life?

On 3 June in Paris, the Federation of European Risk Management Associations (FERMA) will join forces with the insurance law association AIDA Europe to tackle these questions.

Under the theme “European Insurance Law: When Theory Meets Practice”, the programme will address four important topics for risk managers and insurance law specialists: co-insurance, embargoes, serial claims and D&O.

Jorge Luzzi, the President of FERMA, said: “This is a unique opportunity for risk managers to raise questions with insurance law specialists from all over Europe and describe what happens at the coal face – when the law meets the workplace. Our objective is to increase the understanding between the two professions.”

The event is for FERMA and AIDA Europe members, and registration is now open at the dedicated conference website at www.aida-ferma.eu
