Keynote speaker

With Risk Manager in Pole Position as our conference theme, we have a very appropriate opening keynote speaker. He is Mark Gallagher, Managing Director for CMS Motor Sport and co-owner of Status Grand Prix. Mark has also held senior roles with the Jordan and Red Bull Racing Formula One teams.

Europe at the crossroads

Europe continues to face uncertainties about its future direction, despite more positive economic indicators. Negotiations over Britain’s exit, rising populism, changing relationships with United States including on climate change are all on the European agenda. A panel of experts from different sectors will assess the risks and opportunities. The panel members include:

  • Karel Kovanda, Senior European Policy Advisor at Covington & Burling, Czech former Ambassador to NATO and former Deputy Director-General for External Relations in the European Commission;

  • Kadidja Sinz, Head of Europe, Liberty Specialty Markets;

  • Ludovic Subran, Chief Economist and Director for Economic Research, Euler Hermes.

Networking – new events and popular returns

NEW – Risk manager only sector roundtables

MORE opportunities

Young professionals’ breakfast: This very popular event for risk professionals under 35 returns on Tuesday morning 17 October.

Women in risk management: Another very successful part of the Forum programme, the lunch for women in risk management, will return to provide good food for thought from a high profile guest speaker and opportunities to meet colleagues.

Don’t break the bank at Monte Carlo

Register early for cost savings and the best choice of accommodation.  What is more, the first 100 risk managers who are members of FERMA associations can bring another risk manager to the Forum for FREE. Just register before 30 June. The second person does not have to belong to a FERMA member association, so it is an ideal opportunity to bring a colleague to the Forum.

FERMA has arranged discounted hotel prices and travel from Nice airport and free transportation in Monte Carlo itself.
