A new EU sustainability reporting standard: the number of companies needing to perform sustainability reporting in a wider range of areas has greatly increased.
This FERMA MasterClass on CSRD gave the audience a comprehensive overview of the proposed legislation and its possible impact upon the day-to-day roles of risk managers.
Speakers from the European Commission, Deloitte and one of the EFRAG working groups developing EU sustainability reporting standards, as well as the Chair of FERMA’s sustainability committee provided their expert insights on sustainability reporting, which is still an evolving topic. It was clear from the discussion that the role of risk managers is becoming increasingly important within companies amid the background of expansion of sustainability reporting requirements.
