Who is Athina Pehrman, our winner for Covid-19 Outbreak Special Award 2020?

Athina Pehrman, Group Risk Manager at Electrolux Professional Group, a sustainability leader in the appliance industry, participated in our joint webinar with Rims on 1 December. The objective was to bring content from both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. The webinar began with a presentation of the results from FERMA’s COVID-19 survey, and then took a Transatlantic view on commonalities and differences.

Based in Sweden. She Has been with Electrolux since 2019 and prior to that was Group Risk & insurance Manager at Nynas AB where she worked for 6 years. Athina has also spent time in the insurance broking world working for Willis Towers Watson for 4 years.

Her Experience: Design and implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework and supporting the management in strategic decisions on risk and insurance. Initiating loss prevention and loss mitigation activities and assisting in risk assessments and risk workshops.

She was appointed President of the Swedish risk management association – SWERMA – in March 2019.
