FERMA’s Committees
FERMA is supported in its work by Advocacy Committees and Programme Committees, as well as the rimap® Steering Committee and working groups and subgroups linked to the committees.
Every committee focuses on a dedicated work area, and its members are professional risk and insurance managers with expertise in this area.
Advocacy Committees
The purpose of an Advocacy Committee is to assist FERMA in its advocacy efforts.
This entails:
- Contributing to FERMA’s elaboration of a position on issues that impact the Risk Management community.
- Producing, or contributing to the production of deliverables, such as papers, reports, guidelines for the profession, presentations, webinars, seminars or other public events.
Programme Committees
The purpose of a Programme Committee is to assist FERMA in organizing major events relating to the risk management profession.
Notably:
- The FERMA Forum, and
- The FERMA Seminar.
rimap® Steering Committee
The rimap® Steering Committee is responsible for shaping the strategic development of the certification in line with FERMA’s objectives. This includes refining the certification’s structure, enhancing its recognition, developing partnerships for rimap® activities, and fostering an active alumni community. The Steering Committee operates under the supervision of the FERMA Board.
