FERMA has made the ongoing digital transformation a priority for our advocacy work for several years now. The European Commission is determined to make this Europe’s “Digital Decade”.

COVID-19 has spurred on a quantum leap forward in terms of remote working and digitizing many processes that were once done in person.

This kind of transformation is naturally an opportunity to take hold of, but it is also one that presents many and varied risks.

FERMA’s advocacy positions in this field is to promote the work of risk managers in contributing towards digital corporate resilience.

In particular, FERMA is very active on the topics of cyber resilience and cyber insurance. There is also a growing interest in data sharing through open finance.
