The Lloyd's-FERMA Professional Development Programme


A joint educational and networking initiative by Lloyd’s and FERMA for risk managers in Europe.


What is the programme about?

A unique two-day programme has been designed to build knowledge and expertise for risk managers. Learn from leading insurance and industry experts on their approach to risk management, emerging risks, supply chain and cyber risks, amongst other areas.

This interactive programme aims to also encourage relationship building between risk managers and with the experts delivering the sessions.


Who is eligible for this programme?

Risk managers from across Europe 

Entry criteria:

  • Three to five years risk management experience

  • Member of a FERMA association

  • Written and spoken business English skills

Participants will be selected by the FERMA selection Committee.

Each association has the right to submit several candidates.

Where and When? 

Lloyd’s will host a maximum of 20 participants during the two-day programme at Lloyd’s in London. 

Travel to and from London and accommodation costs during sessions are borne by the candidates or their employers and any other expenses incurred by the candidates.

Lloyd’s will provide presenters, the venue and meals during the sessions.

Scheduled sessions: 

  • 18-19 April 2018

  • 25-26 October 2018

  • April 2019: dates to be confirmed
